The Council of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Special Meeting on November 19, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers, Town Hall, 56 Queen Street to review and discuss the proposed draft 2025 municipal budget. The proposed budget includes key investments in infrastructure, municipal services, and community development, as well as important measures to ensure fiscal responsibility.

During the meeting, Council members will consider items which reflect the priorities and needs of our community, including an overview of the community input that was collected through the recent Budget Survey.

Members of the public can attend this meeting and make deputations on the proposed budget. Please complete a deputation request form by noon (12:00 p.m.) on the day before the meeting. Please review the guidelines for providing a deputation request to Council prior to submitting your form. Should you not be able to access a computer, please contact 905-885-4544 and request to speak to a member of Clerks’ Staff for assistance.
