ACO Port Hope Historic Walking Tour - "Trains, Taverns and Theatres"

Join us on this in-depth look at the fascinating stories of Port Hope's remarkable downtown core. As you wander along John Street and Queen Street, your guide will share fascinating stories of the important cultural landmarks that helped shape our town.

Enjoy our branch's third year of conducting these popular Saturday morning historic guided walks through four different neighbourhoods in Port Hope, including "Intro to Englishtown - Baldwin to the Back Lanes", "Parade of Stately Homes - Augusta Street and Dorset Street West", "Trains, Taverns and Theatres", and "Miracle on Walton Street". The tours run rain or shine, with cancellations only in severe weather events. The meeting place for each tour is listed on its eventbrite description. Tickets are $20 plus eventbrite fees. Each tour starts at 11 am and runs until approximately 12:30, so that you and your party can have lunch in one of our wonderful local restaurants downtown.
