The Mayor’s Kids and Youth Art Contest is back for 2025 and we’re inviting all creative young minds from kindergarten through Grade 12 to take part.

This year’s theme is “One Community, Many Celebrations.”

Who Can Enter?

All young residents of Port Hope in the following categories:

• Kindergarten to Grade 3 (Kindergarten/Primary)
• Grades 4 to 6 (Junior)
• Grades 7 to 8 (Intermediate)
• Grades 9 to 12 (High School)

Deadline to Submit

Friday, November 21, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.

Prizes and Recognition

Winners from each category will be announced at the December 2 Committee of the Whole Meeting, and their artwork will be proudly displayed at Town Hall. Each winner will also receive a $30 gift card to spend at a Port Hope business of their choice. The winning art may also be used for the municipal holiday card.

How to Submit

Mark your submission as Mayor’s Kids and Youth Art Contest and drop it off or mail it to Town Hall: 56 Queen Street, Port Hope, ON L1A 3Z9.

Be sure to include:

• The child’s name and grade
• A guardian’s name and contact information
