On July 9, we are hosting an interactive community engagement session focused on understanding how residents experience Port Hope’s parks, trails, waterfront, and open spaces. This session invites participants to share their perspectives and help shape future improvements.

Through guided activities, participants will map and describe a typical park visit. We want to know how you get there, what you do, what you value, and what could be improved. You’ll also have the opportunity to design your ideal park space and highlight key features such as amenities, accessibility needs, and connections.

This hands-on session will help identify common routes, gaps, barriers, and opportunities for better access, connectivity, wayfinding, and comfort across the parks system.

Facilitators from Quantum Recreation and Municipal staff will be on hand to guide discussion, listen to your feedback, and provide insight into the planning process.
