The Municipality of Port Hope’s Inaugural Meeting of Council will take place on November 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (56 Queen St.).

During the meeting, the Mayor and Councillors will make their Declaration of Office, officially beginning the 2026-2030 Council Term. No Council business will be considered at the Inaugural Meeting.

Members of the media and the public are invited to attend in person or watch the proceedings live on the Municipality’s YouTube channel.

Please note that seating in Council Chambers is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

The regular Committee of the Whole meeting schedule will resume on December 1, 2026. Council will then continue to meet as usual on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
