Community 101: Changing the Story Around Homelessness - How to Have Meaningful Conversations with People in Your Life

Session 2: Have the Conversation

Learn what to say and how to close well. You'll practice Deep Canvassing, which means trading real stories instead of arguments, and Moving the Middle, which means stating your position clearly and warmly. You'll also learn The Golden Gate of Retreat, a way to end an unresolved conversation that leaves the door open. You'll leave with a plan for a real conversation you want to have.

This is a 2-part series and attending both sessions is recommended.
