Community Health Centres of Northumberland 
Annual General Meeting & Short Film Debut 
  

Save the Date! Community Health Centres of Northumberland is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 8, 2024 at 99 Toronto Road in Port Hope. The AGM will feature a new short film highlighting Healthy People, Healthy Partnerships, and Healthy Communities. 
 
Led by filmmaker Catherine Rix of Catrix Media, the short film offers a snapshot of daily life for three community members, inviting viewers to meet the important people, places, and local organizations that have had a profound positive impact in their lives. 
 
“At the Community Health Centres of Northumberland, we know that it takes a village -- our community -- to have a positive impact,” writes Taryn Rennicks, CHCN Executive Director. “Our dedicated staff work with our clients and community partners to empower people to take charge of their health and wellbeing, and to serve and connect people to resources to enable success.  

Our opportunity to work with Catherine Rix and her film crew has allowed us to develop a platform to tell three incredible stories, something that we have wanted to do for a long time. We hope that the community will be inspired by these stories and that we will be able to showcase more successes in the future.”
