A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.
Council will proceed into a closed session, in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O., c.25 in order to consider items pertaining to a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Section 239(2)(c) (Potential Disposal of Municipal Property); litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the Municipality or local board – Section 239(2)(e) and advice that is subject to solicitor/client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Section 239(2)(f) – (OLT-23-000360 – 3852 Ganaraska Rd).
