The 15th annual Heroes Highway Ride & Rally (HHR) is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 1, 2024. The Heroes Highway Ride & Rally is Canada's largest 100% FREE event to demonstrate our support of all who have served and do serve. The 2024 ride will gather in Trenton and will ride along the 401 Highway of Heroes to Memorial Park in Port Hope. The HHR is a 100% free event that is well attended by many Veteran-centric charities to whom you have the chance to donate to at your choosing. All guests attending the public rally are encouraged all attendees to bring along canned goods for donation to the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank. HHR is a fantastic opportunity to meet and talk with active CAF members, First Responders, and, of course, Veterans. There is the spectacle of the thousands of motorcycles riding into Port Hope and the live music & speeches in the bandshell. Many activities and events for kids and adults alike make the HHR a great way for a family to spend a day and specially to show their appreciation to those who have provided us with such a wonderful place to live. For more information about the event visit the HHR facebook group. Itinerary: 10:00am – 4:00pm: a free-to-attend public event in Memorial Park with live music, food vendors and displays 11:30am: Motorcycles depart from Trenton 12:30pm: Motorcycles arrive in downtown Port Hope Please note there will be road closures and parking restrictions implemented in the downtown to accommodate the arrival of the motorcycle procession.
