ACO Port Hope Historic Walking Tour - "Parade of Stately Homes - Augusta Street and Dorset Street West"

This tour leads you through some of the loveliest neighbourhoods in our town. Both of these streets boast some of the most magnificent homes in our town. Learn about the history of how these mansions came to be built in our town. Note: this tour goes up a gentle but considerable hill. Please wear good walking shoes.

Help us celebrate our branch's third year of conducting these popular Saturday morning historic guided walks through four different neighbourhoods in Port Hope, including "Intro to Englishtown - Baldwin to the Back Lanes", "Parade of Stately Homes - Augusta Street and Dorset Street West", "Trains, Taverns and Theatres", and "Miracle on Walton Street". The tours run rain or shine, with cancellations only in severe weather events. The meeting place for each tour is listed on its eventbrite description. Tickets are $20 plus eventbrite fees. Each tour starts at 11 am and runs until approximately 12:30, so that you and your party can have lunch in one of our wonderful local restaurants downtown.
