The Captiol Theatre is running the Come From Away July 10th through August 9th 2026. This global sensation takes you into the centre of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town of Gander, Newfoundland that welcomed them during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. At first, cultures clash and nerves run high, but tension turns into trust, gratitude, and ultimately friendship. Written by Tony-nominated Canadians Irene Sankoff and David Hein, this homegrown story shows the indomitable human spirit.
